Description
Walker’s “The People Assemble” is a glorious, large view of a massive shoulder to shoulder crowd around a central monument. It is an inspiring rendition of a united people.
Walker paints every day since 1996. Walker noticed that machine parts in the tailor shop he was working in received machine parts wrapped in canvas that was thrown away. “I would get it out of the trash, clean it up” and ask permission to use it for art.” Walker uses tea bags, spinach, beet juice and other food products to get the color he wants to paint.
