With the use of blues and browns as well as colors to perceive highlights, Greene’s “Night Fisherman” depicts a young fisherman at the end of a pier with a glistening moon far above the mountains. A sailboat has anchored for the night and the water is calm and shimmers. Tall trees and mounds cast their image on the lake.
Greene used acrylic to paint this scene. Not much is known about Greene, but that he served time in the Lunenburg Correctional Center.
