Morgenstern’s ”Calm Now” is a maze of seawater that roams at the lip of the beach. The terrain is slightly elevated with muted earth tones. The painting is 10″ x 16″ and completed in 2014. Morgenstern is a formerly incarcerated man with a substantial artistic reach.
