Prisoner Artisan print – We Too Sing

Incarcerated for over 20 years, Ritchie is a self-taught prison artist who says, “when I began to lose hope, I found art. Without art I would be just another prison number, a silenced voice behind prison walls.” Ritchie says, “If it were not for friends…and the wonderful people who believed in what I could not see, I would not be able to do it.” Ritchie is thankful to be able to offer his work and “to speak to you through my vision.” He works in soft pastel and incorporates justice themes whenever possible.

The print is approximately 12″ x 18″.

The colors in this contemporary piece are primarily brown, white, black and silver.
