Description
Ras is an inmate that says, “Nowhere on earth is it harder to find privacy than in prison. Be it for meditation, prayer, or just thinking, it’s practically impossible…not only is it crowded, it’s loud. Doing art helps me get away from all that so I can keep my sanity until I’m released.” He calls himself unique, though “a lot of people try to classify me, thinking I should fit into some stereotype. I’m half black, half white, often mistaken for being Hispanic.” He dreams of a place like Africa, and depicts it in much of his art.
The print is approximately 12″ x 18″.
